Inspire STEAM Summer 2026 Camp

9 Weeks That Will Change

How Your Child Sees

Themselves.

A focused summer program for families who expect measurable growth, guided instruction, and an environment where children ages 5 to 12 are prepared for the upcoming school year, not just supervised.

Shelby, NC: June 1 – July 31   |  25 Students Max

This is not just somewhere to send your child this summer.

And it is definitely not a rotation of random activities designed to pass time.

Let’s be honest about what most summer programs look like.

Kids show up.

They stay occupied.

They move from one activity to the next.

And at the end of the day, there is nothing they can point to and say, “I did this.”

That is not what we do here.

The Inspire STEAM Summer Camp is structured with intention.

Every week has a clear focus.

Every day has direction.

Every child is expected to engage, build, and complete.

Your child is not bouncing from activity to activity.

They are learning how to think through problems, create solutions, and follow through until something is finished.

They are building real projects.

They are working through challenges.

They are figuring things out in real time.

And that process changes how they see themselves.

Confidence does not come from being told “good job.”

It comes from starting something, sticking with it, and finishing it.

If you are looking for something to keep your child busy, this is not it.

If you want your child engaged, challenged, and walking into the next school year more focused, more capable, and more confident, you are in the right place.

The Summer Camp That Turns "I'm Bored" into "Look What I Made!"

Every Part Of This Program Is
Intentional

Students do not rotate through random activities. They follow a guided weekly structure that builds skills and reinforces comprehension.

  • A weekly enrollment program with defined learning outcomes
  • Smaller class sizes that allow for individualized, guided instruction
  • Measurable progress your child will retain for the school year

What To Expect

This is a full-day structured learning experience where children are prepared for the upcoming school year, not just supervised. Here's What Your Day Looks Like (No More "What Do I Do With My Kid?" Panic)

  • Drop-off and Pick-Up that actually works with your schedule. No rushing. No stress.

  • Breakfast Included. Your child starts the day fueled and ready to create.

  • Snacks Provided Daily We keep the energy up so the creativity flows.

  • Lunch Monday through Thursday

Pack whatever they love. We've got the rest covered.

  • Pizza Party Every Friday

Because every week of hard work deserves a celebration.

  • Field Trips throughout the Summer

We don't just stay in the classroom. We explore, discover, and connect learning to the real world.

Week 1:

Experimentation Nation

Hands-on science experiments that make learning feel like magic.

Week 2:

Math Magic

Discover how math powers everything from video games to robotics.

Week 3:

Kitchen Chemistry

Mix, measure, and create reactions that are safe, fun, and delicious.

Week 4:

Artful Engineering

Your child will explore how beats are made, how sound is layered, and how technology transforms music. They'll use real software to produce. thDesign meets technology - build beautiful things that actually work

Week 5:

Slime Science

The chemistry behind everyone's favorite creation (yes, they'll make slime!)

Week 6:

Maker Mania Build

Your child will tinker and invent using real maker tools and technology.

Week 7:

Bridge Builders & Boat Designers

Your child will engineer structures that hold weight and boats that actually float.

Week 8:

LEGO Challenge

Your child will particpate in advanced building challenges that teach engineering principles.

Week 9:

STEAM Olympics

The grand finale. Your child will compete in chalenges that combine everything they've learned all summer.

But Wait – There's So Much More

While your child is coding apps and designing games, they're also learning life skills that matter just as much:

In the Kitchen: Kids explore cooking throughout the summer, learning measurements, following recipes, and understanding where food comes from. (Yes, your child might actually offer to help with dinner when they get home.)

In the Garden: They'll plant seeds, watch things grow, and understand the science of life cycles. It's hands-on biology that doesn't feel like school.

In the Game Room: Collaboration, sportsmanship, and how to win (and lose) with grace.

Every Single Day: Problem-solving, teamwork, perseverance, and the confidence to try something new without fear of failure.

Intentional Guidance

Weekly Academic Themes

Each week follows a defined academic focus. Students are not grouped randomly. They are guided intentionally.

Literacy & Vocabulary

Students dive deep into weekly themes with structured language building. We ensure active engagement rather than passive reading.

  • A targeted literacy objective
  • A dedicated vocabulary goal
  • A weekly reading log
  • Portfolio documentation
Students using structured reading logs
Students engaging in a hands-on math application project

Reasoning & STEAM

We transform abstract concepts into tangible solutions. Students are challenged to apply logic to guided hands-on projects.

  • A specific reasoning objective

  • A math application focus

  • A hands-on STEAM challenge tied to the theme

ASSESSMENT & FIT

Designed For The Driven

Readiness Snapshot

Before placement, each student completes a simple readiness snapshot. This allows us to meet each child where they are and guide their experience appropriately. We assess:

  • Reading Comprehension: Understanding structured text.
  • Vocabulary Familiarity: Comfort with academic terms.
  • Problem Solving: Approach to reasoning challenges.

Parents can feel confident that learning here is intentional, not accidental.

This program is designed for families who:

  • Value academic development
  • Expect structure and routine
  • Want measurable progress

FAQ

The Questions You're Probably Asking Right Now.

  • "Is my child too young for this?" If they're 5-12, they're the perfect age. We meet kids where they are and challenge them at their level. No child gets left behind or bored.

  • "Can I register for just a few weeks?" Absolutely. Register for one week or all nine. Whatever fits your schedule and budget.

  • "What if I have more than one child?"Bring them! Each child is $220 per week plus the one-time $220 registration fee with a 10% sibiling discount

  • "Are meals really included?" Breakfast daily. Snacks daily. Pizza on Fridays. You just pack lunch Monday-Thursday. We handle the rest.

HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T REGISTER

Your child spends another summer in front of screens. Asking "what's there to do?" every single day. Going back to school in August no different than they were in May. Meanwhile, other kids are walking into classrooms confident, creative, and ahead of the curve because they spent their summer building real skills. You don't want your child to be the one wishing they'd had a summer like that.

WHY YOU NEED TO REGISTER RIGHT NOW?

  • Reason 1: Limited Spots Available. We only have room for a limited number of campers each week to ensure every child gets personalized attention and hands-on time with the technology. Once we're full, we're full.

  • Reason 2: Summer is Shorter Than You Think If you wait until "later" to figure out summer plans, you'll be scrambling to find something, anything that has openings. And you'll end up settling for whatever's left.

  • Reason 3: Secure Your Spot Today. We maintain small group sizes to ensure quality instruction and individual attention. When we reach capacity for a week, registration for that week closes. Registering now guarantees your child's place in the weeks you want.

Not Standard Childcare

If you are looking for simple childcare coverage, this is not that. If you are looking for academic reinforcement and structured growth, you are in the right place.

Don’t let their summer slide. Summer does not have to mean academic regression. It can mean structured development, guided growth, and measurable progress.

Spots are limited to 25 students.
